Has WHO finally died?
Still threads from Tuesday on the front page, and probably about 20 regular posters left and half of them are almost politics only posters. I know it's pre-season but has WHO lost its charm?

You guys- calling it a twitching corpse wasn't necessarily an insult, necrophilia is seriously underrated

I recall the invading of an American Evangelical site with the matchday football thread

Carried on doing so on different obscure sites for a weeks response from some sites was hilarious

There was one we did on a morris dancing forum as well, harder these days as a lot of forums require mods to ok membership before you can post.

Log onto Mumsnet and go to the Pregnancy section. If you can't immediately see the match thread, you're encouraged to start one yourself.

Yeah - a random black font day would get the juices flowing. Facebook & Twitter wouldn't know the fuck what just hit them.

Funny you say that. I always enjoy reading about a game I just watched. Many times, I've thought a match was excellent, but the report (not Vinny, but in the papers) said it was tedious, and vice versa.

PD they never interested me either, but they were enjoyed by some

Re: View From The Opposition - Newcastle United
Vinny

It's great you're doing this item, but I think we need to put it in the hands of someone with a bit more "gumption".

Match reports, injury news etc - you're the man. But taking the piss out of the opposing fans (which to me is equally as important as the fucking result), and you're lost.

Really and truly, no offence meant, but if we're going to have a "View from the Opposition" thread, then we need to base it around friction, piss-take, tribalism and, dare I say it, banter?

So, up your fucking game or off-load it. And yes, I would be prepared to take it on.

===============

I agreed to this idea.

To this date peroni has never done a View from the opposition.
